At the first appointment, we will carry out an examination and discover any concerns you might have about your teeth, your smile or the health of your mouth.
We ask that you complete a confidential medical history questionnaire. We do this to enable us to offer the safest and most appropriate treatment for you.
For the clinical part of your appointment, we will carry out an extensive examination, using appropriate x-rays, photographs and models if required.
The examination includes an oral health assessment and oral cancer screening and we will discuss the outcome together and options for treatment.

Using modern ceramic materials such as alumina and zirconium can provide a strong sub-structure, thereby allowing a more aesthetic and natural-looking all-ceramic crown or bridge to be constructed.
However, this practice provides minimally invasive dentistry and people must remember that veneers and composite bonding are not lifelong fixes. The porcelain surface can change, composite will wear and stain. Generalised bone loss with age will cause gum recession and margins of veneers and crowns will become more visible.
